Going Deeper

After their Blueprint gave Andrew and Sophia a strong foundation, their next step wasn't a full overhaul, it was sharper analysis on the risks that mattered most. Their business was growing, their tax picture was getting more complex, and "we should probably look into insurance at some point" needed to become an actual plan.

Moving to the Framework level meant real numbers instead of general advice. We built out a full insurance analysis and found the gap in black and white: a $2.8 million income protection shortfall for Andrew, who had no life insurance in place at all, and disability coverage that wouldn't come close to covering his income if he couldn't work. On the tax side, we mapped their full federal bracket position, 24% marginal, 15% effective, and identified exactly how much room they had before the next bracket kicked in. We also built out a Retirement Milestone Guide mapping every key date ahead of them, penalty-free withdrawal ages, Medicare enrollment windows, and optimal Social Security claiming timelines for both of them individually.

It wasn't everything, estate planning was flagged but not yet resolved, and a few longer-term risks like long-term care were still on the "revisit later" list. But it gave Andrew and Sophia something the Blueprint couldn't: a clear, dollar-specific picture of exactly where they stood and what came next.
